The director of ICONIC centre Prof. Rastislav Struharik presented the work of System Design and Hardware Acceleration group on hardware-accelerated platform for specific deep learning architectures (Convolutional Neural Networks – CNNs). The platform named GEMINI provides state of the art performance for object detection and recognition tasks on reference FPGA computing units. To get better impression on the design features of GEMINI platform, System Design and Hardware Acceleration group prepared a video that explains and demonstrates the performance of the platform.
