NSF-Serbia Workshop – Early Career Award!
Date and Place: 26th to 28th August, Belgrade, Serbia.
Mirsad Cosovic, PhD student and member of ICONIC centre, was announced a winner of Early Stage Career Award for his poster presentation at NSF – Serbia and West Balkan Data Science Workshop that took place from 26th to 28th August in Belgrade, Serbia.
Data Science workshop brought together a number of world-class researchers from US universities, as well as representatives of US National Science Foundation, to a joint event with their Serbian colleagues, with the goal of establishing links for future collaboration in the domain of data science.
The awarded poster is based on a recent paper by Mirsad Cosovic and Dejan Vukobratovic entitled: “Distributed Gauss-Newton Method for AC State Estimation Using Belief Propagation”, which is published in IEEE Transactions on Power Systems.
